    My name is Eunice; I  graduated from Miami Dade College , with an Associates in Midwifery Sciences.I came to be involved with birth since my grandma and mother would tell me the stories of their births, some were beautiful some were scary, one really caught my attention , my grat grandmother who gave birth to all her eight kids on the same bed, in her home, with the same Midwife. 

   Once i got to college i thought i could be a nurse since i didn't know that they had Midwifes in this country but as i was about to apply my mother pointed to the application and there it was my future, since then i have been hooked on everyuthing related to birth. In the mean time while i get my liscense i am offering my doula services for any pregnant woman who feels she needs me. I enjoy being around pregnant women and babies, and listening to birth stories.

   It would be an honor for me to attend your birth, and help the parents to be cope with the intensity that a labor and birth brings. And i would be more than glad to talk about breastfeeding since it is my favorite subject among others. I believe Birth is safe, and each and every baby is a miracle and a gift to each mom. I enjoy using my midwifery skills and experience, to educate pregnant women in South Florida, so they can have a healthier pregnancy and babies with the help of all the resources and the information i can offer. Believe in the birth energy around you and watch it for it will show how comfortable and loving people are around the birthing woman.
